Chaffhaye is superior for feeding because of its consistency, digestibility, and the fact that there is no waste! I recommend it for feeding to horses that tend to colic and to those with emphysema, since it is dust free.

We have switched our barn completely to Chaffhaye and our horses have never looked or performed better! Thanks Chaffhaye!

I want to share with you my experience with Chaffhaye in 2008. That is the first year that I raised an entire foal crop on Chaffhaye as opposed to baled hay. Prior to 2008 I had combined alfalfa and grass hays plus grain, micro-nutrient, and Ca/P supplements in an attempt to achieve the correct nutrient balance for growing foals. In 2008 I used a mare/foal feed for 50% of the diet with Chaffhaye Alfalfa, and no other supplementation. The M/F feed I used is made by Elk Grove Milling and is formulated to be fed with an alfalfa ration to create an appropriate Ca/P ratio for growing foals. It has a protein content of 14% which creates an ideal protein level when combined with Chaffhaye Alfalfa.

Many of my foals are warm bloods and will grow to be very large at maturity. With large breeds there are often issues with uneven or too-rapid growth rates, causing physitis, which can lead to OCD lesions.

Last year is the first year I did not have a single episode of physitis in my foals. I have kept up with the research on physitis and related growth problems with large breeds. Where the experts used to solely blame improper Ca/P ratios and excessive protein levels, they now believe that excessive sugar levels are the biggest culprit. My feeling is that the known, consistent protein level and the low sugar level of Chaffhaye was a major influence in the elimination in structural growth problems in my 2008 foal crop.
We have been in the Alpaca Ranching business for over four years now. It was a rocky beginning as we were having trouble right off the bat with keeping weight on our newly acquired alpacas. We enlisted the help of our Vet and he recommended a diet anchored by Chaffhaye. We give each alpaca a big hand full of Chaffhaye sprinkled with a cup of sweet grain twice per day. In the morning feeding we include a sprinkling of vitamins. Our weight problems are over and it has not been a problem since. Our Vet is so pleased with our results that he recommends we don’t change a thing. Our alpacas are healthy and look great. Our animals (alpacas and goats) are always anxious to get their Chaffhaye bowl at every feeding.

Thank you.

My Name is Taylor Hutcherson of Chambers County, Texas and I am writing to tell you about my experience feeding your product –Alfalfa Chaffhaye to my show steer – BO.

I was introduced to your product when I was looking for a feed that would help me to achieve that “winning edge.” My dad’s friend from work, Eric Flippo, told my dad that he was feeding Chaffhaye to his animals and basically described the same results that I am getting.

I started feeding Chaffhaye back in March 2008 and have seen the following results:

1. Reduction in stress from traveling to fairs and shows
2. More spring of rib & more drop in flank
3. More Sheen in coat & better hair condition
4. Better overall eating habits that have resulted in better overall health.

I entered my steer – BO in the Chambers County FFA and we took 1st Place in the Light Weight Steer Division @ 13 months old. BO weighed in at 1094 lbs. The following week I showed BO at the Crosby Fair & Rodeo in the Open Steer Class and BO won Grand Champion Overall. BO’s final destination will be the Dallas, Texas State Fair in October. I believe that our placing in this had everything to do with feeding your Chaffhaye Alfalfa. Not many of my friends feed Alfalfa. I have always known that alfalfa was about as perfect forage as you could feed, not only for show animals but for overall health and performance of any animal. I now have winning proof! I am so pleased with your product that I want to go out and tell and show everyone that your product really works!!! Thank you again.

P.S. My cow, that also eats Chaffhaye, had a calf in March and we won 1st place in cow/calf pair for her class too.

We bred, raise and sell quality breeding and show goats.  We have been raising goats for over 30 yrs. Within that time we have raised both dairy and market goats. Through out the years we have tried a lot of feed.  Our "success" was met with Chaffhaye.  It's really amazing.  Within 20 days of switching to Chaffhaye I noticed we didn't have the waste that we had with baled alfalfa and our hay consumption was down while the goats body condition was actually much better. Chaffhaye is also easier for me to handle and store then bales, especially while traveling

We have been feeding Chaffhaye for several years now and have achieved many championships in the show ring. As breeders and competitors we need high quality feed with maximum nutrition.  That's what Chaffhaye has done for us. "We feed Chaffhaye to win".

I recently switched my herd to Chaffhaye after experiencing disappointing results from a so called ‘complete feed’.  Despite doubling portions, amping up my deworming regimen and adding supplements, my horses’ coats were looking dull and they were beginning to lose weight.  I am a professional horse trainer and my personal horses need are like my my calling card.  I want an owner to feel confident that when they leave their horse with me it will be well looked after.  After switching to Chaffhaye I began to immediately notice a difference in attitude and appearance.  The most satisfying transformation took place in the mustangs that I am training for the Extreme Mustang Makeover competitions.  In addition to creating shiny coats and great body condition, Chaffhaye doesn’t make my horses ‘hot’.   I used to have to ride down my reining horses before I could do any training on them.  Now, they step into the arena ready to focus right from the start.  Chaffhaye keeps them calm without making them dull.

"We have really noticed a difference in the amount of bloom on our three year olds, and the only thing we've done different is feed Chaffhaye. We are seeing great results using Chaffhaye as the complete forage for some horses and as additional forage for others! I would definitely recommend it. "
